Have you ever heard the statement ....‘In the end, the only thing that matters is your attitude’?

 
I found myself reflecting on this over the weekend, as I was leaving a retail store and thinking about the bad service I had just experienced.
 
However, as I thought about what I had just experienced, I realized that the service was actually ok. I was asked if I needed help, I was asked how I was at the checkout and as I left I was wished a good day. 
 
So what about this experience was so bad?  It was the attitude of the business. Everyone in the business was just going through the motions, and I felt like I was nothing more that a nuisance.
 
I can tell you that in business presenting the right attitude is huge.  It’s often more important than what you sell or what type of business you are in.
 
Yes I know you might be thinking that the most important things in your business are the products and services you offer, and your low prices. If this sounds like you, it’s time to look beyond your immediate situation, business is about attitude and nothing more!
 
So, what is the attitude your business presents every day?
 
·    What’s staff morale like?
·    How much fun is had between the team and customers?
     How valued are your customers made to feel?
·    How often do you receive compliments from your customers?
     What do your customers value most?
 
And guess what…… You won’t be able to answer these questions on your own.  The best way to find out is to actually ask your customers for feedback.  Find out from the source what they really think of your business.
 
Sometimes being open to the perspectives of others can enable us to gain our greatest learning’s ……… And then our biggest wins!!!!
